Exclusive Red Carpet Screenings at Bovey Farmer's Day!

We're excited to announce that a condensed film compilation of the Grace Oral History Project featuring stories from 30 Itasca and Iron Range residents will be screening exclusively at Bovey Farmers' Day!

ABOUT: Every voice matters, and an oral history project ensures that the diverse voices of our community are heard and their stories affirmed and preserved. The Grace Oral History Project captures the reflections and perspectives of residents of Itasca County and the Iron Range, Minnesota about life in 2018 and community heirloom - the picture Grace, also known as Minnesota's official state photograph. The project aims to engage participants, reach diverse audiences, and add to the existing historical information about the area. Gathering these stories will help audiences, researchers, and historians get the full picture of the times and themes of our area as well as the nation's history while giving a voice to those whose stories have yet to be told. Upon completion, these stories will be exhibited at the Itasca County Historical Society and shared worldwide via social media platforms and the ICHS website.
